The C615S LWIR product is an infrared opto-electronic device sensitive to radiation in the 7.7 to 9.5 micrometer spectral region. It includes a high sensitivity focal plane array (FPA) comprised of a 640×512 element two dimensional detector array made of photovoltaic (PV) InAs/GaSb superlattice sensitive material connected to a Silicon readout integrate circuit (ROIC) by indium bump technology, and a 0.5Watt Stirling cycle rotary microcooler integrated into a metal dewar.
